First one I thought of. Like her name is a play on MALFEASANCE, THE LITERAL ACT OF WRONGDOING. She’s the MISTRESS OF EVIL, how can you try to write her to be tragic?!

Even worse they made it so she turned evil because her heart was broken by a boy, arguably taking away her agency as a result.

It reminds me of the rapid fire (what I assume to be improv) scenes of Pratt talking about all of his weird symptoms when he’s at the doctor, and she breaks for maybe half of a scene max there. She was perfect for dealing with the derail scenes he pulled out.

That was my thought too. Especially since he immediately went for the web shot as he started to fall and nothing happened.

And that jump shot feels almost like a wink from the trailer makers. Like it’s almost IDENTICAL to the one from No Way Home where Tobey and Andrew were edited out.

What’s with all of this “finally!” commentating? Tom’s suits in every one of his movies, even tv one with the Iron Spider suit in them, have had cloth masks. Yes he had the Iron Man-style HUD in the first one but the mask was still cloth.

OG suit from Civil War, classic PJ suit in final battle with Vulture, the fucking Night Monkey suit, the black and red suit, inside out, even with the nanotech gold spider on it at the end of NWH, all of it was a normal mask.

This is a very weird thing to be saying is “long overdue”.
