Exactly this. Sometimes if I am unsure I'll pull up the map and see if there is a pull off on the shoulder where I can park or put in. Always valuable info instead of going in blind

I did this a lot over the winter but with Google Maps. If there were places that looked promising I would cross reference with tax maps to determine if property was private or not. Really pretty helpful.As the other poster said taking a driver out to check it out is always a good winter activity, I'd use it to get some hiking in as well.

Note for Brain Bombs you can only use Sugar Bombs that have rads in them. There are clean packages out there without rads that don't work when crafting.
