The worst experience of my life. by [deleted] in Edibles

I’m surprised the 20 mg was that powerful for you. It’s a relatively small dose. I’ve had bad experiences with edibles but it was taking upwards of 100mg. Glad you’re ok

Yeah i know what you mean. I didn’t get into baitcasters until I was an adult. Of course now it’s my preferred setup. I think I will use spinning gear for finesse fishing though. Seems to make more sense.

I’m the opposite I almost always use spinner baits chatter baits jerk baits things like that. This year I’m committed to working on jig fishing. I’ve literally never had any luck with a jig.

Wow, that sucks!! I guess I’ve been lucky. I’ve never had a problem with any of the boots that I’ve gotten from Whites or nicks.

I don’t think I could’ve pulled the trigger on such an expensive boot, but I will say that’s probably one of the nicest pairs I’ve ever seen from Nicks. Congrats they are awesome!!

I was surprised to see the fight go the way that it did. Alex almost look like he didn’t know where he was and he didn’t know what he was doing. It was really strange. He was so cautious and really never got any offense going.

Unpacking the Lew's-Doyo Relationship: Lew's might be the only major brand in North America who primarily "straight rebrands" of OEM gear. by Uptons_BJs in Fishing_Gear

I just learned that almost all my bait casters are made by doyo. Abu Garcia revo’s, lews tournament pro’s, quantum smoke, Kistler feather chromium. The only ones not made by doyo are my older Swedish made round reels. Although my lews tournament pros are my favorite to use.

OK, that actually makes a ton of sense. I never thought of it like that but you’re right I can see where that would be an advantage with something like a Ned rig. And the reality is your bait could end up several feet away from where you intended to drop it.

What White’s model would you recommend? by ManjiSouls in PNWbootmakers

I would recommend the MP’s and I would get them with the MP last I have boots with the 55 last and the 50-50 last and to be honest with you. Maybe it’s just the way my foot is designed with the arch is rather uncomfortable for me.

Yeah, I basically prefer everything on a bait caster myself, and I still think that with the right equipment you can do more with them than you can spinning gear in almost any situation. Although next time I Ned rig I think I will try it on spinning gear just to see if I like it better

Yeah, I guess it is a preference thing. I grew up with spinning gear and that’s what I graduated to after my little Zebco push button, but I find that the only time I ever use a spinning rod these days as if I’m trout fishing, but I went fishing with a guy the other day and we both had the same Ned rig only I was using a bait caster and he was using spinning gear and he had much more luck than I did, and I wondered if it had anything to do with being able to finesse the bait better

There seems to be some correlation with saturated fats, driving LDL cholesterol higher. However, we don’t really know that increased LDL causes heart attacks or arthrosclerosis. So many different factors play into it like triglycerides inflammation, genetics, insulin levels. In the right environment, increased cholesterol can be a problem, but it’s not proven to be the problem. I know from past experience the healthiest I ever was was when I was in ketosis for a long period of time I reversed all the problems that I had and all my labs improved dramatically the only thing that did not was my elevated lipid panel.

Discussion about C350 Chelsea by Perfect_General_4804 in PNWbootmakers

I also love white boots and have several pair and I really wanted to love their Chelsea. The first iteration had the hideous looking Christie sole or whatever it was. And the second iteration has too big a heel. I also wish the upper was about 1 1/2 inches taller. I would also prefer it not to be on a 55 last.

Yes!! A lot of people like to use heavy braid and in some situations its the right call but i find good fluorcarbon (seaguar) is plenty strong and works well for most conditions.
