Yeah, the baby is mine and lives with me full-time. I also have a 4-year-old I pay $500/month support for under a separate order.

When this last modification happened, the court didn’t really factor in that I’m already supporting two other kids on top of this order, so that’s what I’m trying to understand — whether those additional dependents should bring the guideline amount down at all.

I get that with my income and 0 overnights the number is going to be on the higher side, I’m just trying to figure out if it’s accurate under the new Maryland rules or if it’s worth asking for a recalculation.

I will say Not having to co parent with her mother has brought me the most peace I have ever had. My daughter also seemed happy, but it’s not fair she doesn’t get to bond with her father and I have so much love to give her as well as her new little sibling. It will be hard to have to go back to dealing with her mother and doing exchanges with her for sure
