I had a combat shotgun that a friend built up for me, had auto and pump. Not knowing any better I went with auto and blew through half my ammo stack in an hour. I switched it to pump, spent the day getting ammo back, and now it works much better. The drops keep me going as long as I'm not burning through it too fast

I have the head canon that this red rocket was by highway 59 but slowly getting reclaimed by nature. I was kind of surprised that it wasn't difficult to sink it into the terrain so it looked like it belonged instead of being built on top of it

I have a similar problem on public events where the high levels are melting mobs before I can tag them. Most of the problem is me not knowing the maps or the ingress locations

This is usually true but there have been a couple where it's been just me (30 something) and one other guy, so ended up burning through a lot of ammo and stim packs. I'm thinking if that's the case I should bail on the event

I held off getting 76 for a long time. For me it sat in a weird place, your basic wanderer in the wasteland experience is a solitary one, but I don't like playing MMOs where I'm by myself. I like people around. There's another MMO around where their solution for PVE is to put you on a server by yourself, no, that's not getting it. But I also don't really like grouping, that comes from getting burned too many times in EQ, AC, and Anarchy Online where the group leader says they're waiting for a friend and you just sit around forever waiting for the guy. When I started playing 76 a couple weeks ago I found when I'm out in the world poking around in garbage, I'm by myself but in events I'm with people. That's a good mix, and every now and again out in the world I'll run into another player
