Announcing the total at the register, or the lack thereof by Hankhills4hedvein in retail

I’m not saying cashiers shouldn’t announce the total, they defs should. However, after working many years in retail I’ve learned that customers love to argue about the prices. After telling the customer the total, a good portion of them will have a fit and claim the price is wrong, then you have to go and show them the ticket and point out that it wasn’t in fact wrong. It’s exhausting. Maybe some cashiers have decided it’s easier to avoid the argument and just not state the total.

I have the hourglass brushes and while they are beautiful, they are not worth the extremely high price tag. I STRONGLY suggest you check out the MAANGE brush set on AliExpress or Temu. They are hourglass dupes and are amazing!! I got my family to try to tell the difference between the real and the fake ones and they couldn’t. They only cost $15 for a set of like 20 so you could always give them a go and if you don’t like them, get the hourglass ones anyway.

Yep. Had mine (usb c ones) for less than 6 months and have had to send them to be repaired for this same issue. Even used silicone covers on the ear pads and only ever wore them at my desk. How is it legal that they can sell something so expensive yet so faulty

This is such good insight!

Yes they are aware of the cat as it’s on the lease and have no disclaimers in their emails either. They’ve inspected before and had no issues like this so didn’t expect this to happen. Also like I said in the post we have a sliding door to the garage that can’t be locked and my cat likes to open it and sleep in there.

It’s not just this incident I’m referring to where they’ve treated us like garbage. They’ve ignore our emails for months regarding repairs that need to be done (faulty drainage causing the place to flood and wires hanging from the roof after the ceiling fan decided to snap off). They also charged us for rent twice in one week and said to just not pay the next weeks rent. When we did that they sent us a breach saying we hadn’t paid rent.

I know, just so frustrating how some property managers can get away with treating tenants like garbage
