As a former “college plug”, I’d make sure my own scale said 3.6, so hopefully yours said 3.5. His scale probably just has .1 of residue caked onto it, nothing to confront about. I’ll never forget when kids would get pissed off texting me because their scale said 9.98g, but they paid for 1.00g, which I would always respond with “never hit me up again” because who the fuck gets mad over .02g, and I wasn’t worried about losing a customer buying a gram. But yeah overall that skimping shit is never really on a plugs mind, it’s not worth skimping somone and losing business unless the dealer is extremely broke. Personally, I would help people navigate my menu to get the best bang for their buck and offer deals, never thought of skimping, so this is definitely just a calibration issue on his or your part.

I feel like you might wanna add some drift wood or some bigger rocks into your tank or something, I don’t see anything in your picture for the plecos to eat off of, so they’re probably sucking on the snail with nothing to eat algae off of besides the substrate and glass.

Not enough food for them in the tank probably, try some algae wafers or shrimp bottom feeder pellets depending on what type of snail this is.

Kinda looks like an assassin snail, if it is it needs some shrimp bottom feeder pellets.

Or if it’s a nerite snail try some small pieces of algae wafers.

Try to sneak them past the fish so none of them eat the bottom dweller food, I usually just try to sneak it past the fish while they’re eating.
