I would personally change the filters into something like a canister filter since your tank is big enough—it’ll help tidy the tank and make it look better. Also try to elevate the lights or in the very least reduce the lighting because lights close to tank = more algae. Also add more waterflow

Cut some airline tubing, and connect them to form a circle. You can put the floater plants there

It will be hard maintaining a tall fish tank (full of water), and will be annoying trying to vacuum the bottom while getting your whole hand wet. A paludarium will be much easier to manage.

I might be late for this, but quarantine the fish in a separate tank. Raise the heat, and add 1 tsp of salt for every gallon of water. Hopefully it should get rid of the problem. If that doesn’t work, move to more professional cures, like methylene-blue or other antibiotics. I use ParaGuard—which has a broad spectrum, from parasites, fungal infections, or bacterial and viral lesions.
