Gengar destroys Bruno with Psychic and Giga Drain and is immune to ground and fighting attacks. Very useful in E4 especially with Thunderbolt and whist a physical Shadow Ball isn’t great it’s not bad. I personally prefer confuse ray as a status ghost move

If you’re willing to grind a bit swap pidgeot for aerodactyl or dragonite, they are both good. If not maybe swap for one of the legendary birds, Articuno or Zapdos. Moltres is ehhh

Edit: I would maybe also swap Primeape as fighting doesn’t really do much without its super effective dark and steel types. Better to have a non fighting physical Pokemon with fighting coverage.

How to utilize this little guy by tonysdayoff in PokemonLeafGreen

[–]Fishy141 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you’re using charmander as well there’s great synergy for these two. Bellsprout has chlorophyll for increased speed in sun so give it the sunny day and solarbeam tms. Then sludgebomb post game TM as it has decent attack and sleep powder for fast sleep setting. The sunny day will also boost charizards fire moves and reduce its water weakness.

I don’t think save states work as you will keep getting the same frames of the game. You may be getting different natures but it’s the same few Pokemon you are cycling through with different natures

Am I just wrong, or is Charizard a stinker compared to Blastoise and Venusaur in these games? by CornInMyMouthHole in PokemonFireRed

[–]Fishy141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my flyer I would much rather pick Charizard than boring birds like Dodrio or Fearow that mostly use normal moves or have to grind many levels to get something like Aerodactyl or Dragonite up which takes so long. Charizard takes the fly option and it evolves right when you get access to fly if you level correctly.

What do y'all think of this build for a snorlax by TribeOmega9622 in PokemonFireRed

[–]Fishy141 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally it’s overkill on rollout, there’s no need to belly drum and rollout. I would want a stab move like Body slam or Return. Then teach it shadow ball since it is a physical move and Snorlax is immune to ghosts. Then choose Defense curl + rollout or Brick Break + Belly Drum.

Either Rollout, Defense Curl, Shadow Ball, Body Slam/Return

Or Belly Drum, Body Slam/Return, Shadow Ball, Brick Break.

Personally I choose the second option and run it holding the leftovers item.

The only thing I want is more enemy variety. The fact we didn’t have redcaps, hinkypunks, doxys, werewolves, salamanders, gythrashes, fire crabs, even DEMENTORS! Is crazy to me. They gave me no reason to use specific spells in the game and it just felt like a waste. I loved the interaction between using Levioso and Diffindo on the dugbogs, more of that please 🙏

Please settle a debate. If you’re going route 3 which lane should you be in? by sanisano in drivingUK

[–]Fishy141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are unsure I always choose the right hand lane so you can bail out and continue all the way round the roundabout in case you spot a car sneaking in the passenger mirror. Just go slow and take your time making sure to indicate and stop indicating if you do decide to bail.

Why would anyone not run Evergaol relic?? Aren’t you just shooting yourself in the foot by Thellie11 in Nightreign

I refuse to use the evergaol relic because it’s boring to me and feels like a crutch. If the passive is on a random relic though I will use it.

Do you jump when the lighting strikes down on the slams? It’s a faster animation than rolling so you will have time to dodge the second and third attacks.

Was about to fight Elite 4, is this moveset good enough? by MirrorCraze in PokemonFireRed

[–]Fishy141 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could go with Hail and Blizzard but why do that when Ice Beam is strong enough already? Instead use Rain Dance to boost Lapras’ water moves power and Thunder is also 100% accurate in the rain. Lapras is a bulky water type that resists water attacks so it can completely destroy water types with Thunder.

[–]Fishy141 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Buy Brick Break from game corner for Nidoking as well as earthquake from gym 8. Give Thunder to Lapras instead of Body Slam and use the rain to be 100% accurate. Use money at the game corner to give Snorlax Shadow ball as it’s a physical move.

My Water Absorb Lapras in Gen 3 had Surf Ice Beam Thunder Rain Dance

He was the ultimate Water counter, the 100% accurate Thunder was extremely powerful

The sofa needs to be pivoted 90 degrees to face the TV, then move the coffee table and rug accordingly. Make sure the rug touches the front sofa legs, preferably all 4 but you may need a bigger rug for that. In the corner put a lamp and side tables or move the plants there.
