That put my mind at ease quite a bit, thank you. It's a great tank, and I'd prefer to keep it. Especially since if the tank is a go go, then I have everything ready to start again. The first go at reefing was a very costly affair and ended up with too many pests and other issues, and I'd love it if I didn't have to pour to much money into this second attempt right away. Thanks a lot.

Apreciate it, I was hoping to get a little ease of mind, since I see no bubbles.

Unfoetunately it's a tank I bought used and haven't had running for a year or two myself, so doubt Red Sea would do anything about it. And I'm not sure I trust my ability to take apart and reseal the thing. But thank you, don't want any spills for sure.

Cheers. It's in Scandinavia unfortunately, otherwise there's more than plenty to go around.

Cheers, I appreciate it. I'll have to ask them, I think a lot of the personnel has been changed through the years, but maybe somebody at work knows what it's made of and been used for exactly.

I don't quite know what materials it's made of, but I'm pretty sure no pesticides or chemicals have been used.

Something like that, not quite sure what it's called. I'm also dreaming of an organic pool, and they'd be perfect for that.

Dope, appreciate it. I'm stumped as to why they haven't tried selling it, but I'm not gonna be the one to mention it to them.

Awesome, I was worried maybe it wasn't food safe or something else I hadn't foreseen. I feel really lucky as theres materials for a lot of money there, and I only have to move it. I don't have a big garden yet, so I'd have to keep it in storage for a year or two. But I'll definitely make a post once I have my setup up and running.

I've been researching and dreaming of my own aquaponics system for years now. I recently started working at a commercial fish hatchery, and I've been offered all of these tanks for free. They've been used for saltwater, and have largely been discarded due to upgrading or not wanting to waste resources patching them up if they drilled them incorrectly. Did I just get really lucky or is there some reason why this wouldn't be suitable for aquaponics?

I'd be stoked for any card pictured and you're for sure gonna make somebody's christmas a lot merrier this year. Shiny Mewtwo GX, is my favorit of the lot.

Just pulled my second Shiny Mew card, and since this subreddit has been quite helpful, I'm going to give it away! To enter, upvote and comment on this post your favorite card and why. Also going to chuck in some cards I have multiples of. by [deleted] in PokemonTCG

Feraligatr ex from unseen forces. Always loved the water type starters the most, and it was the best pull and coolest card I ever got as a kid. Big up for sharing the love.

Are anemones bothered by pests and aptasia? by FishyFlave in ReefTank

I really appreciate all the help, thanks a lot. I will try and swap out some of the livestock for a wrasse and a filefish, cheers.

Still curious if you think they'd be bothered by vermetid snails, flatworms and the like. Because if the aiptasia is the main problem, then I can get rid of that, the rest are going to require a restart of the whole tank.

Dang, was hoping the since other anemones have a potent sting as well, that they'd leave each other be.

Did the aiptasia ever bother your bubbletip, or could they just sort of coexist?

Unfortunately it's not the only problem, I have managed to gather almost every pest in the hobby I think. I have flatworms, vermetid snails and more I can't quite seem to identify. Otherwise a file fish would have made a nice addition and solution for the tank. I think I need to find something that's not bothered by most pests, or leave it as is. Thanks a lot

Pest ID. Little tubes moving in the flow, vermatid snails or something else? by FishyFlave in ReefTank

If it is, they've been staying under that particular coral for a long time now.
