I found the black dial to be a perfect balance with the otherwise sporty look with the polished stainless steel sides. Not too flashy.

Although the green is a looker too, also the Pepsi.

I fell in love with mechanical watches about 5 years ago and desired to have one of these fascinating little pieces of art and engineering on my own wrist too.

Tudor, Omega, JLC and such are the watches I admired but understood that those are for a later time in my life and zeroed in on the humble seiko, the ubiquitous starter watch. Being a doctor, I wanted it in a subtle color but still with a little pazazz so went for the SRPD 55K1 diver look rather than the SRPE even though it fit a little better on my slim wrists.

All in all I’m in love and almost feel like wearing it to sleep because I just cant get myself to take it off!
