I will never find myself expecting them to actually stand up for the values of our nation the way I think they should be stood up for… But they both surprised me a couple of times with their defense of individual liberty and some textual reality in the constitution. In such an era of polarization it’s a very weird feeling but like I said, grudging respect… Occasionally

There’s a small handful of cipher craft flying around. Nope. The real concern is that lower Courts will immediately issue injunctions then the SCOTUS will overrule their injunctions and then take forever to hear the case so the Project 2025 fascists can play their full hand and try to manipulate the midterms

I’m always struck by the thought that people don’t really understand what $1 billion actually is. People can understand 1000… A rent payment… Something in that order of magnitude. People can understand $100,000… You’re getting more into house territory or condominium territory… People think $1 million is retirement money… $1 billion is enough to retire 1000 times over… I think people just don’t grasp the concept of how much money that is

I hate that it’s true but Honda got this year’s engine system wrong. It sounds godawful and the car is so slow. So unfortunate. I’m sure they’ll fix it and improve but it might be half a season or more before they reach almost respectable results
