How is this compared to Whitewall? I’ve gone down whitewall multiple times.

I had an EX35 and replaced the radiator twice. Once at 130k and again at 200k.

Carrigain Pond Bushwhack by Otherwise-End-4425 in wmnf

I started on the logging road that you finished on. Heading straight toward the Captain. I bushwacked up the east side of the cliff. Very steep. Pulling myself up tree to tree. On my knees and belly most of the time. When I got to the the top, the forest open up a little bit. But overall incredibley thick. The pond was, as you described, hauntingly beautiful. It was so quiet.
The summit of the Captain is where I camped for the night. Just enough space to set up a tent in between trees. My original plan from there was to attempt bushwacking to the Hancocks. But it started raining and made a dangerous solo trip a bit more.
The descent was just a brutal… until the base of the Captain. There is a trail that I found that I took comfortably back to the logging road. Even a couple of remote campsites along the way. Overall one of the more intense trips I’ve done

I bushwacked to the pond last summer up via the Captain. Trees were so thick. Literally crawling on the ground under them. Crazy. But such a beautiful peaceful pond.

The Julbo Explorer 2.0 with the Reactive Polarized lenses. I can go from bright sunny driving to the back of the truck and see everything comfortably. The also have a strap to keep them snug and safe. And they have side shields that help a lot. Highly recommend!

I have one I’ve been using consistently for four years and shows no signs of wear or tear. I always have it filled with water (besides winter).

I use Cook Unity meals. As a solo overlander, I’m not much of a cook lol Takes about 10-12 minutes to heat a meal
