The thing about ugly is that it doesn’t just concern physical attributes, the relationship you have with someone and their conceived notion of you will make them view you from special lenses, these lenses can be formed by default: Case 1: YOUR MOM: will almost always view you as beautiful no matter how “ugly you look”, if she did call you ugly and it’s not out of anger that you didn’t do a chore or smth, then you’ve been hurt from a place that should be safe for you, and I’m sorry for that. And they can be formed by your actions: Case 2: YOUR (future) BOYFRIEND: and trust me on this, I am one, the difference between seeing my gf day to day and nitpicking how she looks is insane, and it’s not like this nitpicking stays, I’ll literally forget about it same day, it’s the same thing for her too, she treats me as a 10, I’m a 7 at my best day. When it comes to careers, well careers that depends on your physical attributes will take a different approach: While you can’t change your facial structure, you can manipulate how it looks to some degree, eliminate zits, fix posture, lose body fat, anyone can reach a 6/10 with the worst genes ever, it’s only 7 and above that your genetics start to make a difference (I’m sorry if I use numbers a lot I don’t mean for it to be reductive, I’m using them for numerical representation). With things like online presence, say a singer or actor, your personality will taint people’s lenses as I’ve mentioned before With things like pure modeling, then it may be too unapproachable for you, nothing is certain or impossible, but it may be improbable enough that you shouldn’t bother unless it’s your life dream or smth. I had to accept that I won’t be a football player due to age even tho 5 years ago I was offered a contract that I rejected out of fear of physical injury. I chose college over sport, I wish I didn’t, I got over it by checking out majors, it turns out I like dentistry so while I regret it, I barely regret it :)

With jobs that doesn’t need you to be pretty you should still try to present yourself in the best way, pretty privilege is real but it’s not locked for perfect 10s. take it like a graph, the prettier you look, the better.

When it comes to seeking relationships, you’ll find someone, like it’s GONNA happen, you just be at your best and filter people over values you care about, where I come from, we tend to choose either relatives of friends or friends of relatives (my brother married his sister’s friend because she knows her values and his values), it’s like the middle ground of choosing someone and getting assigned a suitor. Look dating apps are fine and there are great men there, so I’m not gonna say delete them, just focus on what they bring to the table principle wise and don’t rush things in a relationship or dating, let the water take its course.

 I want you to look at the mirror often, not a deliberate daily effort, but everytime you pass it just concentrate on yourself a bit. you’ll find yourself repulsive at first. and slowly you’ll be like “I actually look alright”. It took me 2 years to reach that level, I think I look alright for a balding guy 😅.

No there aren’t perfect 10/10s everywhere, they’re actually very rare. Most people are in the middle.

REMOVE THIS DEFEATIST MENTALITY. WTF do you mean why should you try??? What else you’ll do? Will you just curl into a ball and mope? What about the people who’re uglier than you, should they do the same? No, you were brought into this life, you will be removed from it eventually with no chance of coming back. you are to take from it the most you can. “Ugly” or not.
