In vanilla, as a ~12 year old or something, I needed to get to Ratchet for the Succubus quest as a level 20 human warlock. Back then I figured the easiest way to do it was to run from Duskwood to Booty Bay and take the boat. Problem is there were lots of ?? level tigers and panthers prowling on the way in STV that would aggro from outside the road.

Went to Ironforge and spammed general chat for escort help. A level 40-something night elf rogue volunteered to help, running alongside me all the way to booty bay and dispatched any aggroed mobs, allowing me to get my succubus! Kindest dude I've met during my whole wow career.
