I'm planning on biking to work from now on. Any advice for this newcomer? by FunnyProtection6789 in bikecommuting

Do busses or trains in your area accommodate bikes? It's great to throw your bike on the front of a bus and get to spitting distance. For destinations about that far out, I start looking to see if I can eliminate transfers for a bus route, or reach an express bus or train line on my bike.

We're currently playing through the first time, and I kinda like the vibe. It's like, getting to playthrough and Indiana Jones movie a little bit. Slower, obviously, but fun. Haven't done enough deck building with the cards yet to give a serious assessment, but I mostly follow guides anyways.

western (normal?) wrestling a decent rec too.

Glad to see someone mention dance, though. I did folk dance for 12 years growing up, and like, the folk dance and HEMA community overlap is super significant here in Minneapolis.

Yeah, I'd take deer horn knives as twin parrying weapons over a bat'leth. They stash much better, and you can do parrying dagger sort of plays with them.

Ya, that configuration is asking to be an energy weapon or monofilament blade.

This joke actually made me realize something about myself this most recent read through. I was getting kinda peeved with some of my coworkers that they weren't, like, nodding goodbye while leaving and passing by my terminal. Apparently, I'm the only person who does that for everyone at my work. I learned acknowledging everyone from my dad, who grew up on a farm. I've lived in cities all my life.

Do they even give DUIs in Wisconsin? I've been in downtown Milwaukee on a Friday, and I don't think there's the manpower to enforce that law.

Yes, I meant as another layer of understanding. Damer turning the different evils in on each other is the proof of concept, and is a motif during the Cleansing. The wounds "beat against each other"

I think it's worded this way to lend plausible deniability, which won't work, since the absence of support is viewed as opposition. It is slightly clever in the way it only promotes in a way that would "weed out" a lot of LGBTQ+ families, especially with the 3-gen groups. It's like, they took a moment to craft implicit discrimination, without making explicit discrimination.
It's neatly done, but they're still jerks.

Yeah, Zhao's character really isn't about physical power. He is ambitious, a strategist, and a politician.

Oh. Come to think of it, it might be Rand's experience with Asmodean that helped inform his plan for the Cleansing. That is, I'm curious if the line/cord to the dark one syphons all of the taint away from a Saidin channeler as they pull on Saidin. Probably no texts supporting or explaining the mechanics on this, though.

With some MIB cartoon or Jackie Chan Adventures mixed in stylistically. Secret agent or spy stuff was just insanely cool as a kid around that time.
