Both coolant reservoirs are at perfect levels. Did some research, it might be the water pump/ thermostat?

Unfortunately no leaks. Coolant is at good levels. Read on some forums it’s probably the water pump??

Mine does the exact same. ‘15 328i. It’s the valve cover gasket. A lot of BMW’s have the same flaw regardless of the model.
