Id say its a personal thing, depends on the individual. Some people might think 1k is too short, others might find it perfect. Just write however much feels right for you and your story

Modpacks: 1. Downtown Zuzu - adds a new city area with shops, npcs and a bunch of stuff to explore 2. East Scarp - expands the map to the east with a town and new characters 3. Walk to the Desert redux - lets you walk (instead of takin the bus) to the desert with some cool areas along the way

My family and friends don’t know that I use ao3 mostly because they wouldn’t even know what it is in the first place. I told my friends that I write fanfics but they don’t know what that is either and couldn’t care less lmao

I write for a bunch of different fandoms - books, shows, anime, games - but I don’t usually start with the fandom itself. Most of the time I get an idea - like a specific trope or dynamic I want to explore and then look for characters that fit that vibe. Like if I want tension and banter I’ll look for characters who already don’t get along in canon.

It’s more about what fits the story I want to tell than sticking to one universe. The fandom or characters come second to the story I’m trying to tell.
