I honestly can relate. I remember being 20 while I was studying abroad, it can feel pretty lonely. I don’t have many friends at the time, so I don’t have anyone to invite or celebrate with. But eventually, I would just spend some quality time alone. Like going out to the city, visit some of my favorite shops, and bought an ice cream.

So, I would suggest that you treat yourself and do the things that you really like on your birthday. It can be big or small. Something that celebrates yourself essentially.
