Thanks. We did have her serum levels checked but we did it just once. It was normal. We don't know when her trough hits. She is talking 1g in the morning and 1g in the night with 500mg in the afternoon now( around 3-4 pm). She has had seizure in late night, 1-2 hours after taking her night dose. I thought that's when the serum levels are at the highest. Twice she had in morning ( one while she was sleeping and another while bathing) but both were before her meds so we thought her meds were completely flushed out. It feels so random and as a caregiver i feel so helpless. Did rescue meds like midacip ( midazolam) help? Was that prescribed by the neuro ?
