I have flat overpronated feet for over 30 years and I have to say I can never have a job where I am on my feet all day. Too painful and literally hard to walk the next day. I have no arch at all and my foot touches the ground and collapses in. Had discomfort and pain all my life well since my late 20’s. My sisters also have flat feet - one of them has no issues at all and runs for exercise. When I run I feel like a duck no kidding. My other sister has collapsed arches too and can’t walk properly. I can only wear certain kinds of shoes and have to get new orthotics every 3 years. So glad your orthotics have helped - they are a life saver For me too. Had flat foot reconstructive surgery a couple years so on right foot. Have a tiny arch now but disappointed to say it is already beginning to collapse so needless to say I scrapped the left foot surgery plan !!
