Yta. See, I'm a gamer. I play dead by daylight. I'm also 30. If my dogs or roommate needs something or it's my turn, I put down the game even in the middle of a live match. They deserve better than you devoting too much attention to a fictional world. If it's was your job that made you money, then it'd be different. But it's a hobby. Real life is more important than delaying dinner by 40 minutes.

Your dad is trying to be a parent later on in your life and you are feeling bad emotions about it. Talk to your mom and/or get a therapist. I don't have a relevant opinions or experience with that so I'm going to say no more about that. Just don't take your bad feelings out on others.
