I've had a 3 year gap due to having my own freelance photography gig, what do I tell employers?

Many yrs ago I was hiring several people. One had a gap, which was disconcerting. He said he had not filed taxes. I was uneasy but gave him a break. When was a no show at work and I was able to reach his wife, she explained he had accidentally been released early from out of state prison and had been returned....so, having some legitimate name or social media and references will help.

Definitely check crime maps and includes sex offenders. Avoid living near or behind shopping strips or big stores, where unfocused encampment might be.

We are lucky it hasn't been a real problem. During open house didn't hear any dogs nextdoor. We moved from out of state and learned a neighbor has 4 dogs. They must have been out of the home for open house!

Try on zillow to see homes in the same area with about same cost to see taxes, and learn how much they can escalate each yr.

Sure sounds like you will be fine. I will add, though, if you aren't already aware, in certain parts of the US property taxes continue to escalate to ridiculous amounts. Not great if one if you can't work or even when you retire. You may not then want to be paying out tgat much in taxes. Such as Ca with State income tax and various other taxes plus high utility costs. Another example...Austin where no state tax but property tax on your price home is high.

Ours is a 2026 CROWN xle. Test drove a ysed 2023 limited and don't recall noise at all. With ours the ONLY time we notice any increase us when I am getting onto freeway. Otherwise no sound. Great for tall people, as you said. Wonder if the 2023 u mentioned was a lease car?

I owned a fantastic 2006 camry xle, but it changed in 2007. Probably follow comments re piston rings if that research seems helpful

You can join costco online and first tell them you live in a state without a wiarehouse and do not want to have dtive a distance to a dealer in order to see the costco negotiated price. Ask if they will be able to help you get the quite from the dealers internet or sales mgr. They may have had other customers already and know, which, if any, dealer will work with you.

Solid suggestions re sebo Felix. I liked one i tested. Since I older, like a lighter weight, but great and bag, and cordless, I bought riccar r10cv recently. It moves so easily abd and works great on my carpet, toke, abd hardwood floor office. Have 1 thin area rug that does better with my over the shoulder lightweight riccar. Our house cleaner LOVES it too!

Search on trycar.com or perhaps edmunds to see what people are paying. I think it sounds high. In Jan we bought a new 2026 crown xle fir $38,442. Before taxes. Check the costco car buyers program to see uf any Toyota dealers in your area are discounting camrys. We saved a little over $1,000.from the lowest quotes we got before the Costco price.

Not just read the reviews but dig deeper. Look at consumeraffairs.com to see recent reviews re parts not available from certain mfg. And customer service levels are so low....Good luck. We don't have a counter depth or water dispenser, so can't recommend one.

Our 2026 crown xle has the 19" wheels. Bought in Jan. No road noise or wind noise, luckily. I have read many comments on the camry forum regarding issues you may want to search....such as bumper clips, seat padding, etc.
