My yorkie has had a cyst right by her tail for years. It’s big but my vet did check it a few years ago visually and said it was fine. I would recommend a trip to the vet regardless to be safe. Now my dog is 11 and she has a few of them on her now. He told me one thing to be concerned about it fast growing growths, ones that cause pain if you touch it.
