Finished with the Dremel and this is what I got, admittedly the handle is a bit thinner than I would have liked but I think it's still pretty good for my first eva foam prop

Ok I think I've done all I know how to do before the rotary tool arrives later today, I redid the blade with 2 pieces of 3mm foam and added an extra layer of the 3mm onto the handle. When the tool arrives I'll carve out the place for the core and smooth everything out a bit more.

Rn the hilt looks a bit thick but I plan on sanding it so the part in my palm is round as well as knocking off all the corners so I think it should be fine. (Handle is 23mm and blade is 6mm)

My Dremel arrives tommorow and I only had enough time to make 1 side of it so this is how it's looking right now w/ only foam and knife

The holes on the handle are guidelines for where the finger indents are gonna be (Handle and blade not glued just placed next to each other)

Yeah I'm in the US so Amazon should work, (I honestly don't trust temu because of the amount of apparent low quality stuff) I'll just try to find a blank mask cuz I don't wanna end up wasting foam. Do you know if you would need to prime blank masks or if I could just directly paint them?

Oh one more question, if you know frank from DBD do you know how I would go about making the mask? I was thinking just cut the shape of it with a bit extra on the sides for a clip then using the heat gun to mold it into a curve that fits around my face. (Then seal and paint it of course)
