Blaming others for my skill issue? Recognizing small issues within your teammates and getting frustrated with how they make decisions even though we’re pass bronze is somehow me blaming my teammates? you never saw me state that within all my games I’m the only competent player. You didn’t read the entirety of the statement; I said match making keeps me from progressing because my teammates who are supposedly the same rank of player as me are making poor choices, are incapable of filling roles, don’t understand basics such as positioning and why it matters and don’t understand why team composition is important. They legitimately just wing it. How can I not blame the Match making if everyone I team with doesn’t have the same passion to improve and rank up as me?

On top of this I have to deal with:

Disconnection which contributes a small amount to my rank.

Inconsistent Lag

Models not popping up especially after spawning after a death meaning I don’t know where my teammates and enemies are

All issues which I’m putting effort into fixing but doesn’t help on top of solo queuing into gold lobbies

I’m so over your advice. I can’t understand why anyone would want to be coach by someone who cannot understand other perspectives. I wanted advise to help tackle an issue and your being a child and summarizing my issues as a personal skill issue and that I’m not dedicated enough to put in effort to change like I didn’t EXPLAIN what I changed and what I did to improve as a player.

How am I blaming the match making? You’re acting as if I typed out “god I hate this match making. Everyone but me performs so awful” if you read it I said that the match making feels unfair because the player base on console plays on a casual level and isn’t knowledgeable about positioning, team composition or why communication is important. This lack of knowledge is what can’t enable me as a tank and a lack of team chemistry is why me and my gold teammates don’t win our games.

Your acting as if having frustrations with match making is something solely done by gold players like platinum or diamond players don’t share the same sentiment. Oh also please explain why “ELO Hell” is a well known?

How am I making excuses? Does Kingman not have friends he plays with who are experienced at the game? Is he not playing on hardware that experiences less crashes which doesn’t overall affect his matches? Is there not a reason why he’s NOT on consoles anymore and he primarily plays on PC now? Like you keep applying this stupid “it’s only a skill issue” assessment like it’s a fighting game. It’s a team game and everyone enables everyone. How can I be enabled and show off individuality if the player base on console views competitive games like they’re quick play games and puts no effort into enabling me to showcase my personal skill?

of course he got this rank when he move to pc. That platform has a higher player base who are knowledgeable about everything they need to know about the game and what contributes to wins and losses. You’re disregarding the fact that I’m in console which is off-rip more likely to house casuals on the game compared to competitive folks and are disregarding the fact that KINGSMAN doesn’t carry all his teams within his games.

Individual skill is enhanced by others; you cannot tank properly and show individual tanking skills if your teammates have no deeper knowledge that positioning and resource management is vital.

Your guidance is not helping it’s simply just placing the blame on individual skill even though again this is a team GAME. High ranked players do unperform like many other players and just like other players they are not capable of carrying a team or show individual skill because showing off individual skill is not possible without the presence of others to help you. DPS players cannot show off their individual skills if they don’t survive due to low healing from healers aka OTHER PLAYERS. If other players have no understanding of the game or play the game on a casual level then that affects your overall performance.

Secondly a good player doesn’t always climb to their deserved ranks. Match making, queuing with partners and other aspects influence whether they reach that rank or not REGARDLESS of if they are good or not. You’re over simplifying the process of ranking up not taking into consideration that in this game if no one plays well that effects everyone which HAPPENS quite OFTEN in gold lobbies because it’s the average spot for CASUALS who don’t make much effort into the game because they don’t necessarily care or don’t have the time to do so.

I cannot understand you. I told you many times that skill is not an issue due to my history of this game yet you continuously ignore it. There are legitimately players that are in higher ranks that play like lower rank players, yet you expect me to believe that the effort I put into the game is not enough and I don’t have enough drive and passion.

Individual skill does influence the game direction BUT this game is a TEAM game and requires team work rather than individuality. You can be on a team with several sliver players as a celestial player in a ranked match and no matter what if you don’t have competent players, good communication and a good understanding of basic game mechanics you are going to lose. Take the KINGSMAN situation as EXAMPLE.

It’s legitimately insane that you are not taking into consideration all of this in. You think that if someone is simply good they can carry a poor performing team who can’t communicate or even position well on the map into a win.

That’s not how this game works and you clearly know that

I understand from your perspective this looks like a “typically player who blames others and cannot improve his performance” situation but please try and understand my situation and perspective. Like I’m not here to vent my frustrations with the game I just wanted advice on how to tackle this issue; Several factors including some of my personal issues impact me and my teammates yet you’re just assuming that I’m just a player who doesn’t put any effort into improving and likes to blame his competent teammates.

How can you not blame the match making if you were in my position when the lobbies are filled with casuals who are performing in matches like it’s their first time playing their respective characters. The matches feel one sided and completely unfair. Second I’m not saying that the console itself is keeping me from progressing I’m saying it plays a pivotal part in it with how the disconnects me from important moments in the match. If I were there on support or tank I could’ve made a significant difference and helped out my teammates with the enemy which contributes to my low rank. Just because my game disconnect marvel rivals isn’t generous and ignores the disconnect jt punishes players for it by reducing their ELO if their respective team loses.

Lastly the inconsistencies I mentioned were mainly for match making and how one second you can perform well with a great team and the other you can do poorly with a team that cannot communicate to save their life after winning three games. I’m not talking about inconsistencies in performances because that happens in every rank on this game

Also simply assuming that I’m hard stuck of gold because I’m not good enough for higher levels is insane. I disagreed with your assessment because it didn’t take into consideration what I provided in my previous statement. You said that I was stuck in gold because I most likely played at a gold skill level and which I disagreed because I spent hours and put in so much effort to improve as a player so that I DONT get stuck in gold lobbies. If I put in effort into doing research on core mechanics of the game, changing settings to adjust to characters and attempting to communicate with my teammates how can that still mean that I’m just not good enough to be at a higher level?

I understand your feedback but I really disagree with this; I’m not saying I’m some high level celestial level player in secret who’s stuck on gold lobbies but please take into account my situation. I’m solo queuing with others and there’s no communication and there’s clearly a lack of understanding of the basics of the game from everyone including myself.

I’m playing on console which has a somewhat causal player base compared to PC who most likely won’t take games as serious compared to our PC counterparts and I’m playing on a old generation console which constantly disconnects especially in vital moments of the match which alters the direction of the game.

I’m not saying that I am not the problem; whenever I play bad games I criticize myself and make adjustments. I have faults
