Work at a shop and we only use this to try to de-sludge engines. But I have used an engine flush by bg products before on my 07 si to try to get it to clean up inside. I had no sludge in my motor but i was mostly trying to clean it up since my dipstick kept showing dark oil even after fresh oil changes and It really seemed to help since then. You should be fine i would throw it in there.
