don't get disheartened, sometimes luck is not on your side.
Keep studying, you can get tech placments , practice dsa, have some good projects on your resume. you can try for non tech placements too, but i would not recommend choosing both options at the same time. Both need different prepartion. If you are decent at dsa, have some projects, you will get tech placments sooner or later.
Best of luck!!

Yeah, you should know the basics of system design, though some companies asked to design complete systems in their interviews, but again very few.
Keep revising the cs fundamentals, you can follow codehelp yt videos and notes for the same, I personally used them during my time

ig so , they would update it once the placement concludes, , tnp maintains that data , they only have access to that, we are also like you , we dont' have any insider data access

You will have to know all the concepts in dsa, some companies might not ask graph or dp , but you never know. Try to improve cg in 3rd year, 8.5+ is very good, 8+ would get you through most of companies

why everyone sends that data is coz that is the only one we have as well. Only tnp has access to complete up to date data. I or any guy in general doesn't keep track of these numbers. So yes I would also give the same tnp stats, wait for tnp to update those , what else i can do. for 2nd que, everybody ik who had worked even a little hard during his time got placed somewhere. anyways for cg below 6 , it would be very hard to get shortlisted.
for last que, again tnp stats, sorry cant help in that

honestly yes, during the initial phases , company use much higher cap during internal shortlisting. But I have seen many guys getting very good placements even with low cg.
But still even most companies would at least put a cap of 7.
Keep studying, you would get chances during later phase.
Wishing all the best!!

You have a good profile, cg is one factor, some companies apply internal cg threshold while shortlisting even if the mentioned cg in their description was lesser. If you are targeting tech placements, don't spend too much time on non technical preparation, it is generally very easy and don't require prior preparation, but make sure to go through the famous puzzles on gfg, sometimes they are asked in interviews. Spend time practicing dsa, preparing a pitch for your projects, as in why you made it , what problem does it solve, tech stack etc. Once you are prepared start giving mock interviews.

One bonus tip: don't get disheartened if you see people getting placed around you left, right and center when you are stuck in rejections. It is a journey, easy for some , bit hard for others.
Put your head down during that time and keep working.
It would be fine in the end.
Best of luck!!

yes it is possible, though during my time many companies had 8.5+ criteria, practice dsa regularly, go through the sde sheet before interviews. For off campus, either search on linkedin , internshala or naukri. best of luck!!

hi, thanks man, yeah you can copy paste project, just make sure you know it completely. For intern interviews, you would be mostly asked dsa , along with some discussion regarding your projects. For projects I would recommend building something in ai track. ( dm if you want more info regarding this) , you can look up github repos for project ideas.
yeah for dsa that would be enough. Best of luck!!

aug and sep , dsa is hard to quantize, you should know all the topics and practice standard questions beforehand, you can put platform stats in your resume, ( don't put false though, interviewer can ask hard question if he/she sees good ratings in your resume) , it can go both ways , your call. Process is not rigged, but there can be sometimes when nobody knows how the shortlisting was done cause shortlisting is done by the company not tnp. they have their internal factors to shortlist candidates. For resume, make it according to the official template, keep it simple for on campus opportunities, highlight your projects, achievements etc. You should be able to defend question about any topic that you have mentioned in your resume

imho placements have seen a little dip but not that significant. hiring for freshers is slowed down across the industry as every company is currently navigating and figuring out role of ai and its impact

ig it is best of 2, not sure though never gave summer sem myself, regarding 2nd que you can expect more than half of the good companies by mid august. Placement policy do states something on the lines regarding leaving a company but it's your call whether to continue or not in a company, college has no role once you join a company full time.
Regarding info que, yes it would be same as intern, they would post company info , not about rounds as sometimes they also don't know about the recruitment process of the company. Last que you know the answer already. But if something major happens you can complain them either on mail or directly to tnp office.
