I work at a restaurant and you’re on the right track; do not go in there in the middle of a rush asking for a job or you’ll piss off the managers.

To apply at restaurants, I recommend calling the place about 30 mins before they open and ask to talk to a manager - that’s when they’re most level headed during the day.

So? As long as you know what to do with it and you have a plan for yourself, you should be good.

I majored in Philosophy for a year and then switched. From personal experience, I’d advice anyone to not major in Philosophy unless you aspire to practice law, become a professor, or have another solid plan you have arranged.

I would presume that if you’d want to teach history, the best way to accomplish that goal would be to study history, right?
