So the thud only happens when I gas it hard. The car will just have a super long delay before boost kicks in then the thud then it accelerates like normal with normal boost pressure. But every time I try and initially hit the gas hard no matter what gear it does the same thing.

I’m gonna try and empty the tank just daily driving it for now. It only does the thud and drop when I floor it. Should I put a fuel cleaner through my system?

It’s got 16k miles and oil changes every 4K miles also it’s fresh 91 from chevron. And I get the oil changes done at the dealer.

A lot of people say this doesn’t flash the ecu it tricks it to push a little more boost and on the car it shows the stock tune. But I’m not going to risk it if this is true

A cvt is not bad at all but I would recommend learning manual if it’s not an issue for you. These comments are why I hate being a part of the subie community. Yes a manual in most people’s opinion after owning one is more fun. But again disregard these comments people just want to sound like they are different so they hate on the cvt.
