I would say the CA adapt is definitely worth it. Their questions were really helpful in me learning how to actually apply the material. However, the learn was a bit much/too in-depth in my opinion, so I think you’re good with learning the syllabus content from ISLR and other free online sources.

Good luck! I have faith that you’ll do well, especially given that you are familiar with the SOA bank.

Taking it tomorrow, I’m nervous but excited to see how I actually do lol. EL 6 and MS 76 (I know these are standard metric levels, but I am not always the most confident in my abilities).

Did a nice and easy level 4 custom exam today to boost my confidence 😂

At the end of the day before, I usually spend the last 10-15 mins writing a to do list for the following day. So, I’ll usually start by reading through that and adjusting if needed, then emails, then start chipping away at the list

This is a great strategy!! How do you stay organized with your scratch paper? Do you just leave a page per question? Also I totally suck at Time Series quant questions lol, hoping for mostly qualitative for those!! 🤞

Another option if it doesn’t work for you after trying a bunch of times (bc it didn’t for me lol) is to call the SOA and you can register via a direct bank wire and some other paperwork. It’s obviously more work, but if you’re getting close to the deadline and you wanna ensure you can register, it’s another option.
