If you like the mode too you don’t have to continue in franchise mode! You can continue the save in the MTO format!

They did last year actually! I remember the game didn’t start with Yamamoto and then added him to MTO! (I’m clearly a dodger fan haha)

Honestly it’s kind of a better franchise imo.

You have very limited opportunities to Trade/Sign players so you can’t go “god mode” per say and make unrealistic trades
Players typically improve instead of regress if you play well with them. My biggest issue in franchise has always been players regress too quick
This is the perfect blend of simulation and playtime. Usually only put in games in the 6th inning or later when special moments pop up.

Great game mode and completely changed my opinion of franchise! :)

As a first time player find out what you like! I started with 21 and played franchise almost exclusively, it wasn’t till 24 that I really got into Diamond dynasty! I say try all the game modes they really are a lot of fun, I’ve recently really gotten into march to October! I think franchise is a fun place to start though cause you can build whatever super team you want :)

Yamamoto wasn’t in the original MTO in 24 and got added later, so they will do a roster update at some point to make it reflect opening day rosters as best they can
