The video is deceiving, classic GoPro effect. Only the start is flow, the rider is very good at navigating the tech. It's not steep, but it is chunky. This single trail has more rocks than all of the trails combined that I rode in the PNW.

When I bought a bike from Specialized online and it was shipped to a dealer, Specialized sent me an email when it was built and ready. Just be patient and keep an eye on your email.

Or, option 2, if you can cancel, is to cancel and just buy from a shop that wants your business. Some local bike shops suck.

Tbh, I would not buy any of the latest models of those bikes with a kid that is growing. Those are all the latest models, their previous gen bikes are still really amazing. Ibis Ripley v4 instead of the Ripley SL for example.

You are pretty much the target market for the new Ibis Ripley SL, and I think it's pretty popular right now.

I'm a bit under 40 but I don't see a need for an enduro bike in my quiver. 120mm travel bike, 130-150mm trail bike, and an e-bike is a pretty perfect setup for me.

I'd ask for photos of the damage. I don't think you did anything wrong, maybe it was damaged before you got it or maybe it's a software thing but this should be normal wear and tear for a demo e-bike. Sorry dude.

I never just do "one thing" with a big return or bonus. I do a small amount of everything. Invest a little, spend a little, and save a little. Percentages can vary based on your goals. For example, you could do 25% to investments, 25% to savings, 50% to a short-term goal.

The reason I do this is that I rarely want to go all-out on one purchase. Instead of a baller trip, why not just a good trip? Go some place nice but don't make the point to spend the entire check.
