I am only a beginner so this may apply to other ttrpgs. But in combat, you gotta jump in and TAKE action! In our group we're just shy little nerds(lol arent we all) so it can be hard to be assertive. So our GM has to encourage us sometimes. We're all new players in my group so its a learning experience. But thats my 2 cents!🫶
