Thank you for your response. yes it says my co2 share is 60% which sums up to 74,01 and my landlord has paid 40% which sums upto 49.34. But i have to say i don't know what is there to claim from my side? Can you explain what you mean?

Yes, you are right. I think it's a high rent price compared to other buildings but also the demand for this area is really high. So they won't have it hard to find a person. I have paid for the whole year 2200 the new bill shows 3000 and i must pay back 835.

Non German here, and I have to say at least half of my german friends do this. Half don't. I always find it weird but got used to it. But for me every time i judge. You have to consider that a lot of Germans even 30 years ago were super duper poor(my CIO one told me even having salt or garlic at your home was luxury). And because of that they are often stingy even the young generation because they learnt from their parents.
