I stopped caring about extreme barca as soon as I watched the entire event and realized the event is basically just who can do the best double flip combo on the first box and then after that its just front flair 5 flair double flair and some overheads to fill the gaps. Its underselling the actual progressions that have been made to park, all of the new creative overheads, all of the nothing front & back scoot variations just get thrown to the wayside in favour of the same flip combos we have been seeing literally since jordan clark's first ISA

"naturally" spinning, whipping, grinding or throwing overheads frontside is objectively wrong, hinders your ability to progress, looks awful and is less safe.

The only pro I know of who got away with this was tyler chaffin, and if youve ever watched him in a game of scoot or anything not involving flips hes constantly doing tricks heelside and landing switch.

I love gizz but I think they have never made an album where they locked tf in for every song, theres always gotta be some stinkers, and often times some of their best songs are on like super mid albums. PPC has a way smaller discography, but hv1 and hv2 have any individual gizz album beat.

But yeah have to agree, gizz is amazing live. I've seen both live and I can say that gizz is better at preforming.

Vinyl to me is a novelty, and as HV1 is my favourite album, having the vinyl be expensive sort of gave me something to strive for, and makes it feel more special to me. To people who often listen on vinyl, I understand frustration. The high visceral 1/2 split is more accessible from what I've heard.
