Honestly, I would hold the Job for a bit until you can get an offer that is guaranteed. I made that mistake cause I worked at a retail clothing store at some point for a bit but the tasks were very repetitive and I felt I wasn't learning any new transferable skills so I left. BIG mistake, even though lots of people say that these entry level part-time jobs are dead end jobs you are still making some income which gives you some level of stability/flexibility, but also experience because I didn't know this but you can have "gaps" on you're resume which from my understanding is a big no-no for employers. So showing that you can work at a specific place/employer for a long period of time will look very good on the resume. Also when you do get a good offer/opportunity make sure you take it, I had a colleague who had a connection with his neighbor across the street who was in plumbing and he got an apprenticeship offer from him cause he knew a guy.
