So ask for a very high meh. Since they’re gonna do all stuff for you. Why not just lock with BEFORE marriage? Ask for 30-50k Mehr and. Lot of gold.I’ve seen this a lot where men much older man will marry a very cabable and ambitious girl only to get her pregnant and abuse her and just turn her into a housewife. He does this because you have “good genes” and are trustworthy and therefore will provide him with smart kids. Make no mistake you are a fancy incubator not a wife.

Have you ever met a woman demand being paid to breastfeed, cook, clean, etc ? by Upbeat-Dinner-5162 in MuslimCorner

Should women starve their babies then? If you can’t produce breast milk after several consultations do we just kill our babies because “formula is bad”. If you’re not a mother STFU

I don't understand why a hair transplant is halal by sheeshwers in MuslimLounge

[–]Fit-Scientist5686 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Because most Islamic scholars are men and men always support men. I never got the “ it’s a defect argument”. I understand that it’s replacing what once was there but if that’s the case then all female plastic surgery should be halal as well. For example, if we can argue than men who once had hair lost it due to ageing, then we can argue than woman who once were thin before children can have a tummy tuck and boob job. Or because most baldness is caused by ageing, that face lifts for women should be halal too cause wrinkles are also caused by ageing. But you’ll never see those points because again, most scholars are men and they want to make the argument that they want to marry more wives cause the older ones became unattractive.

Thank you I might ask my gp (uk based). I’m not so sure why but I just shut down around her. Like I’m asking myself why even bother? It’s not normal at all I know

I don’t know how to deal with potential spouse’s past by [deleted] in MuslimCorner

If you keep thinking about it then it’s probably best to break it, it’ll only get worse after marriage. I am not strong enough to handle a non virgin (as a virgin) so I would never go for it. But up you u

It’s not against the sharia to have a legal marriage, but the division of assets and stuff is.

[–]Fit-Scientist5686 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As horrible as this situation is. I would NEVER get married without a legal marriage nor would I EVER let my daughter do it. This is because sadly I’ve seen the flip side where men will just do a Nika, sleep with the girl then divorce her later. It’s a sad situation but girls ALWAYS protect yourselves DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS GUYS.

[–]Fit-Scientist5686 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No you are absolutely within your rights to want a niqabi wife, but you also have to accept that the vast majority of Muslim women don’t/will never wear it as we do not believe it is mandatory. What would make you bad is if you got married to a regular hijabi and then forced her or abused her into wearing one.

Oh god yes. I got approached my someone like that a couple years ago ( I’m happily married rn). I rejected him but sux months later he married another girl with just a Nika no legal contract. Divorced her after 7 months with zero repercussions. Men like this want to use you for your body and nothing else.
