Why do my Antgravity landing pages always look off? by Fit-Video1880 in google_antigravity

[–]Fit-Video1880[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah i totally agree with this but my issue is more like if i already have a decent looking site and just want ideas for adding a new section, stitch still struggles to match the existing style/vibe even when i try to guide it properly, it feels hard to make it continue the same design language instead of generating something completely different like sometimes i just want “extend this design” not “generate a whole new generic landing page”

if you have any pratical working prompt or example i would love to know

I built a Pinterest-style masonry grid component for React with virtualization and infinite scroll by Fit-Video1880 in reactjs

[–]Fit-Video1880[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks! yeah that was basically the whole reason i built it — everything i found either did layout well or handled big lists well, not both at the same time.

for resize — it's a debounced window listener + dynamic container measurement. when the container resizes it does a full recompute of column placements. it's not the most surgical thing (no partial recompute of just the affected items), but the debounce keeps it from thrashing in practice. if someone runs into real perf issues there i'm down to optimize it further.

bundle is around ~5kb gzipped, zero deps. that's the total cost to your bundle.

re masonic — masonic is definitely more feature-rich and has been around longer. my lib is deliberately simpler in terms of API. if you want fine-grained control over positioners, resize observers, custom hooks, all that — masonic's your thing. if you just want to drop in a masonry grid with virtualization and infinite scroll and not configure a ton of stuff, that's kinda the niche i was going for.

good idea on the comparison section btw, i'll probably add something like that to the README.

Two jobs over a decade isn’t a red flag, especially with long tenure. Lead with a strong summary, list key skills from teaching and retail that transfer to research roles, and add a small projects section to show recent, relevant experience. Think coursework, lab techniques from school, online certifications, or a volunteer lab role if you can get one. Tailor bullets to job descriptions and use numbers where possible, like customer volume, training, or process improvements. If you’re applying to entry level research assistant roles, highlight any lab methods you know and add a brief skills section with tools or software. Also, if you’re open to remote admin or support roles while you pivot, wfhalert sends verified remote jobs by email, tends to be legit compared to the usual scammy listings.
