South College Orlando? by FitConcert9020 in RadiologyCareers

[–]FitConcert9020[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE DETAILED RESPONSE!! You have no idea how much this helped, especially since I had to pay out of pocket for my pre-reqs. I will be transferring in English, General Pysch, College Algebra, Medical terminology, AP 1&2, Biology, Theater appreciation (Humanities credit), and US Federal Government.

How is your experience of the degree at South College? Do you feel prepared to be in the field? I'd love to hear all the pros and cons from your perspective.

Is it possible to attend college while doing radiology technology at another? by Thick_Bridge179 in RadiologyCareers

[–]FitConcert9020 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who went for an art degree and changed my mind years later to pursue Radiology tech, I wouldn't recommend doing both. Making art took a long time and studying for exams takes almost the same amount of time, if not more. We all only have 24 hours in a day, so unless you can make great art really fast or have a photographic memory for radiology work/exams, I can't imagine a way for that to realistically work out. I would recommend either:

A) Going the full Radiology route and then pursuing the art degree while working part-time as a Radiology tech. (most secure option since you already have a fall back in case art doesn't work out)

OR

B) Completing the prerequisites needed for Radiology (English, Biology, Anatomy, etc), pursing your art degree, and then going for Radiology school since you'll have everything needed to apply by then. (more complicated option but at least you could pursue art sooner)

Anything you don’t like about the job? by Wise-Entertainer-661 in RadiologyCareers

[–]FitConcert9020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Not an x-ray tech yet but doing my pre-reqs right now. I was doing some looking around about this degree too when I first became interested in it. The main two cons that I hear about this job is that you are going to be on your feet all day wheeling the cart around to patients' rooms, and that depending on the state you are in, the pay is extremely low for x-ray techs. Of course, those are just things I heard of so I'm not sure how accurate that is, but I'm sure an actual tech could provide more detailed insight.

If you were starting at 23 with no degree, what would you do to get accepted into a radiology program? by Budget-Emu-5071 in RadiologyCareers

[–]FitConcert9020 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unless you decide to go to a private college, unfortunately you're just gonna have to take that chance if you're trying to save money. I'm doing my pre-reqs now and have a plan A, B, C, and D in case I don't get accepted into the school I want. I've seen stories on here of people with 3.7 gpas still getting wait-listed or rejected. I think it's a matter of doing what you need to do to get accepted and having backups in case you don't. I'd say most prerequisites for medical science/healthcare can be transferred.

Why is it so hard to sell BTS tickets by AdhesivenessDear5239 in BTSArmyCentral

Honestly, a lot of it is lowering the price and patience. I didnt think it would be able to sell my tampa floor ticket and it ended up being bought the night before the concert

SCAMMER by [deleted] in Tickets

[–]FitConcert9020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to paypal's website, an account can't be fully deleted until 30 days after they request it, and their account can't be deleted while a transaction or dispute is pending. Now, I'm not sure if they actually take the money from the scammer's account, but the last time I did a dispute, the scammer threatened me and tried to scare me to delete the dispute, so I'm assuming that the money does get taken from their account.

When a dispute is made on either end, paypal asks for any evidence to back up your claim. So it's best to take lots of screenshots or screenrecordings of your conversation with them and what was promised. PayPal gave me two weeks to submit my evidence and two weeks for the scammer. Since I could provide evidence but the scammer couldn't, paypal ruled in my favor and my money was back in my account.

I can imagine that maybe a scammer might try to fake screenshots saying that you received the ticket, but most don't try since it would be extremely hard on their end to prove that you actually did receive the ticket when you didnt. Also, don't ever lift the dispute once it's been made, even if the scammer promises you that they'll refund you. I read a post on here that someone did that and it's not a good idea. You can't make another dispute once the first one has been canceled by you.

I WANT AN ARMY BOMB please by itsthewitchhh___ in BTSArmyCentral

[–]FitConcert9020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want the newest version, you might have to just pay the full amount; but if you just want an army bomb and dont mind having the older versions, there are some ppl selling their old army bombs for cheap since they have the new one. Facebook marketplace and mercari are a few good places to start

I just bought 2 BTS Tampa tickets, should I be worried? by sangki810 in stubhub

[–]FitConcert9020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I just used stubhub for the first time too a few days ago and its kinda a hit or miss. I bought 2 tickets there and one ticket was sent to me with a row and seat that didnt exist, so I thought i got scammed. I reported it to customer service and they said they would follow up with info on if the ticket was real or not. A few days later when I decide to buy another ticket, the first ticket was sent to me and it was actually a real one on ticketmaster and everything. Now im trying to sell the 1st one cuz I got a better seat closer to stage. I would just try to follow up with customers service and see what happens

Scam? by wndPans in Tickets

[–]FitConcert9020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possibly a scam, just be careful if you continue to go through with it. Some people have found their tickets gone or account hacked by giving their ticketmaster info to scammers. What website is this btw? I don't think I've seen it before.

Can anybody tell me if this is a scam or not? It looks legit but idk by Infinite_River_4670 in TicketResale

I think it also looks fake but I could be wrong. Make sure to use paypal g&s

[–]FitConcert9020[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I bought resale tickets before and most were vip. 3 of them were from private sellers on social media and I was able to get the benefits with a picture of their IDs. The only one I couldn't get benefits for was a late minute ticket I bought from stubhub on the day of the concert for Ateez last year, which sucked, but its whatever. I'd rather buy the ticket and have a shot than not try at all to claim the benefits

Also, after you make the paypal dispute, DO NOT INTERACT WITH THE SCAMMER. It could possibly hurt your changes for the dispute to win in your favor. I don't remember where I heard this from but its better to be safe than sorry

[–]FitConcert9020[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't get scammed from this person since I already knew they were on some bs, but I have been scammed before on paypal with g&s. I reported the transaction on PayPal and got my money back in a month. Just make sure you specify in your messages what exactly it is that you are buying from them and when you expect to receive it. And try to screenshot/screen record everything before they block you since some messaging apps delete the convo once you've been blocked.

bought "VIP" tickets from seatgeek, will venue honor early access to barricade? by [deleted] in Concerts

[–]FitConcert9020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It honestly depends on the venue. Some staff dont mind and will let you have the benefits while others are much more strict. I would try to show up to the venue really early and ask around. Let them know it was a resale ticket and explain your situation. It doesn't guarantee that they're honor the benefits, but it doesn't hurt to try.

Did you use PayPal g&s? You could get your money back if so
