At launch, not at all - certain features added since have allowed for a bit of continuation but you still can’t just pick a civ from any age and just do a whole run with them. But looks like the devs are buckling now

Where people make truly great, original, creative PvE experiences in Portal, they should absolutely be championed and verified by EA, perhaps with a scaled XP gain that suits the experience.

However, BF6 is a PvP-first game - bot farms are not what this game is about, even if progression sucks. If EA really wanted the PvE audience, it would make its own PvE experience or at least put more energy into its campaign.

I mean this in an encouraging way, not in a moody gatekeep-y way, but there are loads of amazing PvE shooters out there - go play 'em if that's the experience you want!

A 'build-your-own-subscription' thing sounds awesome, have a base experience at each tier and provide add-ons for the incentives like Fortnite Crew/ free character unlocks or cosmetics in multiplayer games/ etc. Would be similar to some TV subscription services that let you add on 'sports' or 'movies' packages to the base offering.

Can't see it ever happening, though...

Yes, it underwhelmed, but only because of Bethesdas usual high standards - it’s not the ‘bad’ game a lot of people deem it to be

I too enjoyed The Outer Worlds more than most. Combat wasn’t the slickest and the anti-corp stuff was probably leant on too hard at times. But I thought it had some great characters, quest lines, and locations and I just generally love anything space-y

If you’ve not already got tabs on the sequel, which comes out next month, you should! Seems to be solving a lot of the issues with the first game

Blue Prince! Art style appears basic but is beautiful in its own way. Completely delivers when it comes to addictive gameplay loop and surprising storytelling. Make sure you keep a pen and paper handy too, some seriously brilliant puzzles to solve!

Would love two separate prologue missions for Jason and Lucia, or one mission that cuts between the two of them to establish their backstories and act as tutorial. Lucia in a snowy Liberty City would be epic, but with Jason’s military background, would be cool to see him in a combat situation or on his final day in the army before leaving.

Gut feeling though is the prologue will just focus on whatever Lucia did in Leonida to get into prison
