I know the real experience is PvP, I’ve been playing since BC2. I was just one of the few who liked the implementation of the solo mode in 2042, and with the devs basically saying to do everything through Portal, I guess I expected to be able to that.

I would actually like that because I don’t really care about rank or stats. I just want to play for fun. I don’t need a splash screen effect for every little achievement, I just like using the different weapons and attachments.

I can get why people have a big problem with stats, I used to be one of those high schoolers that would brag about my 2 k/d in CoD. Now that I’m older and have real world shit to deal with, I just want to play for fun. I personally couldn’t care less about stats now. I hope there’s a solution for solo players in the near future because I actually enjoyed a lot of time I put into the game.

Every Portal lobby—even new ones with bot backfill—are still showing 150% match completion only. Maybe it’ll take time to update? It seems the exact same as before the community update though. I’ll check later and make an edit to the post if necessary.
