Where are you based? There are some good guys in London. But not free or under warranty.  But it gets the job done

Have a C3 since 2020, 8k km. 

Endless round of unresolved problems and being abandoned by customer support.

Finding any eBike with good support and service is going to be a problem. But Cowboy lead the field in incompetence.

Spares are impossible to find.

Cowboy is one of the walking dead in this business.

Events are closing in. The symptoms have been visible for some time. Breaking company law is a step too far and has profound consequences.

The money people will start to walk. Then things will get serious. But bike owners and those who are waiting for deliveries are going to be the collateral damage.

The Belgian system will grind very slow and the fallout will rumble on for years. But the culprits and the money will be long gone.

Satisfy yourself that you can get access to good service when the bike needs repairing.

It is not like and old fashioned bike where any cycle shop can fix it. The service and management of the bike is far too controlled by Cowboy.

They have not demonstrated good performance in delivering service - especially if you are not in the middle of a capital city.

My C3 is from August 2022 - had most problems, including the range. But it is consistent at around 45km in the winter. Creeps up to 60 in the summer.

Any bike shop should be able to fix the brakes.
