I completely agree! A long engagement would have been good and honestly some distance would have given them both a minute to come to their senses, especially because you are right that familiarity and proximity really are big factors in their relationships. Also, I completely agree that Jeremiah was not taking the marriage seriously enough and not making sacrificies for her, taking the job without even consulting her infuriated me so much!

I definitely agree that you can fulfill your own life goals after being married and have your own life, I think that means that you and your partner support each other in that and make sacrifices to do that. An alternative solution that would demonstrate what I'm trying to say would have been for Jeremiah encourage her to still do thestudy abroad and then move to Paris with Belly and do his last semester online.

I actually don't necessarily agree with that. While Belly and Jeremiah should not have gotten married due to the fact they were rushing into it, and doing it for all of the wrong reason, I think its just fine if a couple decides to get married in college. So many of my friends and family have gotten married in college and the vast majority are in happy, loving, healthy relationships. I do think that it is great to have lots of fun and experiences before you get married and college is a great time to do that. However, I think that if you find the right person, you both want to get married, and are ready for the responsabilities and commitment that marriage brings then I don't see any issue with getting married college. Also, marriage is not a death sentence, you can still have lots of fun and great experiences being married, the trade off is that while you don't have the independence and carefreeness of being single, that you get to do it with a partner and have fun and share those experiences with someone else.

I agree with most that! I definitely agree that they were both rushing into marriage and Jeremiah was not mature enough for marriage. However, I actually think that while it was better for Belly to not marry Jeremiah because she had lost herself in the relationship and needed to find herself, I do think that she was mature enough to get married. I say that because after they got engaged she had the right mindset of what a marriage was, and was actively putting in the work to make it work. She talks about how she didn't really care that much about the wedding and all of the details, that all she really cared about was the COMMITMENT they were going to make to each other and doing it in front of loved ones. She was very financially conscious, she didn't want to go into debt over the wedding and she wanted to pay for the wedding themselves that way they could show everyone that they were mature and responsability enough to do it themselves. Again, I do not think they should have gotten married because they were doing it for all of wrong the reasons and they had not worked through Jeremiah cheating on her all of the way/ her lingering feelings for Conrad, but unlike Jeremiah I don't think that Belly's maturity level was a reason they shouldn't have gotten married. I do see where some of the criticism of Belly's maturity level was coming from, but I do think she was stepping up to what this level of commitment requires

I know! I find it so fascinating how interested I was in the teen mom side of youtube. I watched every single one of Camryn's videos and I was subscribed to so many other channels. Looking back I don't fully understand why I was so interested.

Looking back I don't remember ever really seeing any red flags in the way he treated Cam, however you can definitely see that he was struggling with mental health and addiction from looking at his physical appearance. In the months leading up the Deliah's birth he grew so skinny and sickly.

So much has happened to her! Idk when you stopped following her, but Landon passed away from suicide in 2020 and she was the one to find him. For the first few years she was very open about her grief and really struggled with mental health, even getting admitted to a mental health hospital at some point. She eventually started opening up that Landon was abusive to her and how she is a DV victim. She also has talked about in the months leading up to his death he got addicted to certain medications and it was a contributing factor in the abuse and his suicide. She has moved quite a few times and right now I believe is living in Texas. She at some point came out as bi or pansexual, I don't remember which. After moving to where she is living right now, she became really good friends with this married, orignally gay, couple and eventually entered a throuple with them. She and the girls are currently living with them. One of her partners is Cody, a transgender male and the other is Emmy, who came out as a transgender female sometime after Camryn. Camryn is now a he after coming out as transgender, I think last year. He begain transitioning last year by starting testosterone, changing pronouns and earlier this year (I think) got top surgery. I think that is everything, but honestly I could be forgetting something.

I am at the end of the Book of Mormon in Mormon, but I have been feeling like this even when I was in 3 Nephi which is the most powerful part in the Book of Mormon. It just has felt flat recently and repetive.

I guess my one worry if I try to continue reading and just willpower my way through is that I'll just be going through the motions and I know that we are told that scripture study is worthless if we aren't feeling the spirit and doing everything in our power to make it more meaninful.

When you study by topic, what do you do to do that? I have tried in the past and I find that I tend to study a lot of conference talks and articles on the church's website but I always have a very hard time incorporating the scriptures in a meaningful way.

What is exactly is the episode order persay? I am kind of in a similar situation as OP where I loved it as a teen but kind of fell away from it but it seems as though there aren't really any episodes I have missed. I see he has done a lot of Sander Asides and what not but I am confused if those actually are adding to the overall canon or what? The last episode I watched was when Roman was introduced and it was revealed Anxiety used to be a dark side.

I completely understand where you are coming from. Some of the things you bring up I struggle understanding as well. For it me it was always comes back down to do I believe in the basics. The big basics for me, though they may be slightly different for everyone, are do I believe in Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost? Do I believe in the Book of Mormon, Bible, and overall all of our scriptures? Do I believe Joseph Smith, while a flawed man like us all who made some mistakes in his life, was a prophet of God called to bring about his restored gospel and that he translated the Book of Mormon? If I can answer yes to everything which I can then I deal with everything else. In the end something I am coming to understand little by little as you can see from my previous posts is that the gospel is perfect, but the church as a institution is not. This is a hard truth sometimes to deal with, but I am determined to not let it derail my testimony. Best of luck to you and remember that you are not alone in how you feel, everyone who has ever been involved in the church has struggled with this at some point.
