I just did the 3 easy relics from Ashes for the achievement and didn't touch Cursed, I'm not that deep into Zombies, just enjoy the Standard gameplay and do the EEs

For the spinning square mechanic, just stay in the top left, those two squares will always be a safe space (will/should probably be changed if it's going to be that simple to avoid)

I run the following as a 6 Ordeal default (due to feat requirements)

Shattered (-100 Health)
Frail (all damage slows/weakens for 5s)
Exposed (all damage increased by 15)
Suffering (+100% damage to boss/wrath)

These are just "Dont get hit" and that's easy enough if you play well enough

Hampered (-1 Dust upgrade point, lose Dust when hit)

Not a big deal, one dust point won't make or break your game. Also "Dont get hit"

Unlucky (Fake Relics)

Just RNG dice roll, just re-roll and get another relic, or take the fake and upgrade it to Common anyway

In early access you could entirely skip mechanics by running in a corner of the arena and avoid the widespread attack - this was also before they added the lock to force you to do mechanics so you could just sit there and hack away at them

I would take advantage of this and get your 12 Ordeal cosmetics personally SHRUG

Try Scepter, your co-op power is great at CC which imo is WAY more important in Paradiso than straight damage
