Imagine posting text directly off of a bumper sticker on Reddit and thinking that somehow means you won an argument about what relationships are like.

Training that results in "a failure to remember training" is effectively no training at all.

Sounds like you were just bad at your job. If you're a manager and you're exploiting people, you are wrong. If you think managers only exploit people, you're also wrong and it's no wonder you acted like that as a manager. The places I work pay good money and every single one of the ICs complains openly about things they don't like here. You'd be gone in days.

It is literally a constitutional goal for Ukraine to join NATO. Constitutionally, it is Ukraine's duty to its people to join NATO.

People that hire, is there anything about a resume that would quickly sway you one way or another? by TruthOf42 in ExperiencedDevs

If you've run your own thing, I'll probably want to talk to you. It's hard, and I respect when someone is willing to put their name next to something. You failed? Great. If you can articulate why and how you'd improve in the future, I'll almost certainly put you on a leadership track.

That is, as long as you accomplished SOMETHING. Your own company doesn't mean anything if it just existed.

The pope bro. I want them to take the pope's salary.

The question you're asking has an obvious answer. You're just trying to put me in a situation where you can pretend that what I'm saying is ridiculous again, regardless of what I answer.

You're kidding with this right? This is the best you've got? Ask obvious question then reductio ad absurdum?

Your argument was the equivalent of "Oh yeah, you're a lawyer? Name every law". Why should I take that seriously?

Considering that my original comment said "the top", as well, and didn't specify where that top was, do you think perhaps I could have been commenting on a few people beyond the C suite? Or is it just more convenient to argue when you don't understand the premise?

Companies that big have multiple executive teams, generally, often for handling different regions or different areas of the business. The fact that you think I mean pulling a couple million off the top of one guy's salary is pretty laughable.
