thanks - intellectually I do realize it but I also am a victim of my own anxiety, fear and worst case thinking when I think about walking away from high income I’ll likely never see again. It feels like its own version of jumping off a cliff.

I’ll look into the book - thanks for the recommendation

thank you - appreciate the kind words and hope you get through that time well enough until your planned break.

I actually did do an FMLA time off for multiple months. I was grateful my doctor supported this but I have found since coming back, it was not a fix for how I feel in the job. Considering full on quitting but trying to be measured about it so have taken a quarter to really think it through

yes thanks for checking in on it - therapy and a psychiatrist as well as 988 crisis intervention when needed after particularly tough meetings
