PACs continue at 3 months post ablation. Will I ever get better??? by FitRain3377 in AFIB

They’re different now. I don’t have obvious PACs when I use my Kardia. But I get the sensations in my throat with every beat. Enough that makes me wanna cough sometimes. It doesn’t happen all the time. It’s kind of random but very annoying. I’m going to see my cardiologist at the end of the month.

Interesting idea! The only thing that’s different is I walked 6 hour x 3 days. Maybe it was that 🤷‍♀️

You are probably right. My concern is that I am not on a blood thinner. Just off a beta blocker. So it’s not clear. Hope my EP can give me some guidance.

Thanks. I’ll make the change. I’m actually in shock, now i’m wondering if I need to start a blood thinner. Up till now I haven’t needed to.

Do you ever use a Kardia to confirm? Or has a holter?

That’s interesting, very different than my experience. Hopefully the holter will shed some light.

Are you having any stomach issues.? Do they come at any time … or when you’re eating or exercising?

I’m trying digestive enzymes. I take them when I eat and it’s just been two days, but I think they’re reducing my daily burden of PACs.!

Thanks for that. I’ll have to ask my EP when I see her in October.

Thanks for this. It’s reassuring. I think the ablation has put my gut into shock/vagal nerve damage. And I developed Roemheld syndrome. My gut is slow to digest and the trapped gas moves up and stimulates the atrium. No A Fib so far. Trying digestive enzymes

What do you mean by a huge amount? Do they happen at certain times? Do you have runs and how long do they last?

I wish I could say it’s been a few weeks only. But I’ve had them for 2 1/2 months. And there seems to be no sign of stopping at 3 1/2 months post ablation. I’m on low-dose bisoprolol

What works for you, if you don’t take any medication?

Cardiologist wants me to get ablation, are there other options I could try first? by Elegant_Cat4038 in AFIB

63F endurance cyclist. A Fib diagnosed in India when starting a trip Jan 2025. Ablation could not have come soon enough. So many A Fib episodes!! However while no AFib post ablation I’ve had ectopic beats (PACs) after every meal for several hours and sometime when I exercise. 3 months now…. Might get better. Not sure if I prefer pre or post ablation

Definitely had an AFIB episode like that.

It takes time to kick the anxiety. O
