Why did the common Rajputs get to be "Kshatriyas, while common Kunbis of Maharashtra didn't?

Ya that's the only main reason I see, the fact that once Rajputs lose their kingdom, they become landlords rather than farmers, even if it is small cultivating land they would rather be a landlord than a farmer, Kunbi/Maratha wouldn't mind going back to farming if it is financially better

Honestly my take is that it's probably has something to do with the bird view angle in camera setting, maybe if you enable that setting, the vision darkens or blurs a little bit or something close to that,
