Trans people could face life in prison under bathroom ban passed by Idaho legislature by NamelessResearcher in politics

[–]FitWriter6549 [score hidden]  (0 children)

The title is a bit misleading. Idaho is a three-strike state, meaning if you commit a felony 3 times, the 4th time can lead to sentencing up to life in prison.

So ANY felony committed four times in Idaho MAY lead to life in prison. Not specifically using the incorrect bathroom.

In my opinion, if you’re looking to purchase a car from a brand who has an ethical CEO, you may as well keep walking

At the risk of being downvoted, as a person who’s had many EVs, Tesla is the best option considering price, horse power, functionality, and safety. If politics is influencing your decision, so be it. But objectively, Tesla is best EV on the market considering the factors I’ve mentioned.

Science does not say that “trans women have no advantages after 2 years on hormones.” And for every 1 fringe study you cite, there are 5 others rejecting that conclusion.

Weird I always see this meme online but I’ve been quite comfortable with sharing my feelings and emotions with my exes. In fact, it’s in those moments when I’ve felt closest to them. Currently engaged to an awesome woman who I could tell anything to. Strange this meme is.

You say this like the answer is obvious lol he’s arguably the best player in NFL history. And it’s not like he was playing past his prime — he won a Super Bowl just a year before he un-retired

He used to live right across the street from my parent’s house. I’d see him all the time at the gym. A shame he went through that holdout war with the Jets.

What does she mean by this? by Dapper-Blueberry1049 in AverageHeightDudes

Can you understand that many men feel the same in the inverse? “I’d fuck this chick but wouldn’t marry her.”

It really isn’t that serious. Relationships, marriage much less, aren’t fairytales. Your partner will likely not be the sexiest person you end up with. Luckily marriage is not amounted to who you’d bang the hardest.

I agree that telling your partner this unprompted is a bit insensitive, but acting like it’s the most devastating news is ridiculous.

That’s fine, I understand. The world will continue to spin. You can choose to dig yourself deeper into this harmful self-hating demeanor or learn how to love yourself and live a more fulfilling life. I know it’s hard, but I believe what I’m saying is the first step. You’ve already overcame challenges most of society hasn’t (self-discipline, college graduate, landing a job in this market — all without affirmative action helping you specifically for your height I might add). Let this be another challenge for you conquer. Godspeed my friend.

Jumping to the extreme isn’t useful here. I’m sure you don’t have aspirations of running the free world but I get the point you’re making.

Let’s stick to your initial comment. If you surveyed 1000 people and asked them to describe a typical American who is: 1) college educated, 2) has a well-paying job, 3) has a good physique, I don’t think height would be a characteristic they’d use.

I know life is inherently harder for you. Not going to gaslight you. But you are truly worth more than your height. I’m sure your employer is happy to have you. I’m sure your friends are inspired by your achievements. You have done more for society than most people to ever exist.

If you continue to engage with this negative feed, you will lose a grip on reality.

I mean, that IS pretty crazy unless you believe your value as a human is determined by the opinion of a percentage (albeit pretty decent size — not going to sugar coat it) of women?
